Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Quence collects, why, and what your rights are. We handle your information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Quence is a free website audit tool operated by Websodigital, a UK web design and SEO studio. Websodigital is a trading name of Daniel Stoychev, who operates as a sole trader and is the data controller for the data described here.
- Trading name: Websodigital (Daniel Stoychev, sole trader)
- Email: [email protected]
- Address: 110 Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, LL11 2NG, United Kingdom
What data we collect
We only collect what we need to run the tool and to contact you if you ask us to:
- The website address you enter to audit (this is not personal data on its own, but we store it with the result).
- Your email address, only if you choose to unlock a full report, request a call, or start weekly monitoring.
- Your name, only if you choose to give it.
- Your IP address, used briefly for security and to stop abuse of the tool (rate limiting).
- The audit results we generate for a site you check.
For paid weekly monitoring, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To run the audit you asked for and show you the result (consent, and our legitimate interest in providing the tool).
- To email you your report, or call you, when you ask us to (consent).
- To provide weekly monitoring you subscribe to, and to bill for it (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, using your IP address (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service:
- Cloudflare — hosting, security and the anti-bot check on our forms.
- Zoho Mail — to send the emails you request (your report, monitoring updates).
- Google PageSpeed Insights — if you run the optional speed check, the address of the audited site is sent to Google to measure performance.
- Stripe — to process payments for weekly monitoring (only if you subscribe).
How long we keep it
We keep audit results and any email you give us for as long as needed to provide the service and any follow-up you asked for, and then delete or anonymise them. If you subscribe to monitoring, we keep your details for the life of the subscription and a short period after, for our records. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Cookies
Quence does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) is privacy-first and does not track you across other websites. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict our use of it, or ask for a copy. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continued use of Quence after a change means you accept the updated policy.
